Fanatically Green

Free'py is green - really green - not just "we provide a recycling bin" green. We use FSC certified, 100% post-consumer recycled paper, vegetable based inks, energy efficient machines, and on top of that we offset any and all carbon our business produces. In fact, we are actually carbon negative, conserving more carbon than we produce. Negative can be a good word after all.

Environmental Impact

Photocopies are essential to students, so we've designed our service to have as little impact on the environment as possible.

Environmental Impact (per machine per year). Typical copy machine: 57.24 trees cut down, 9.17 tonns of CO2 emmitted, Chlorine or Chlorine Dioxide bleach used. Free'py machine: 0 trees cut down, 0 carbon footprint, process chlorine free.

 

Carbon Free

Free'py is so green that in fact we are very proud to have a negative carbon footprint. With our green practices and our partnership with CarbonFund.org, we have achieved a negative carbon footprint supporting programs for reforestation, including the bottomland hardwood forests of the Tensas River Valley in Louisiana.
